MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT
The MOMS Club of Pasadena, California is a local chapter of the International MOMS Club. We are a support group for all full or part-time at-home mothers. We believe that staying home to raise our children is a fulfilling full-time job!
The MOMS ClubŪ is a wonderful way to meet other at-home mothers in your area who share your interests and concerns. We offer a monthly meeting, family activities, weekly playgroups, Mom's Night Out, Park Days, field trips, special interest groups (Scrapbooking, Reading, Cooking, etc.), a bi-monthly newsletter/calendar, and service projects that benefit children in the community.
The MOMS ClubŪ was started in the Fall of 1983 by founder Mary B. James. The first local chapter was in Simi Valley, California. Word spread about the wonderful support that the MOMS ClubŪ offers at home mothers and became a national organization in 1985. We now have over 2,000 chapters with more than 75,000 members across the United States.
You have found the Pasadena, California chapter. We serve the Pasadena area south of the I-210 freeway. We are 40+ members and growing. Come visit us at our next meeting, the 2nd Tuesday of each month. You probably won't be the only new person there! Although some of us have lived here for years and are experienced mothers, many of us are new to the area or to motherhood. We all have one thing in common, the MOMS Club introduced us to other moms who stay home and soon became our friends. Please contact our MVP for the meeting location.
If you live in Pasadena, north of the freeway I-210, then please visit our sister club at momsclubpasadenanorth.blogspot.com
If you live in South Pasadena, San Marino, Alhambra or 91775 zip code of San Gabriel, then please visit another of our sister club at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/momsclubsouthpas
If you don't live in the Pasadena, California area, contact the International MOMS ClubŪ to find a local chapter near you.
Sincerely,
Lisa Healey
